Rome... If this name triggers anything, it's primarily happiness. I couldn't describe the mixture of feelings I have for this city in any other way.
I've visited Rome 3 times already, although I'm almost certain that there'll be more visits in the near future!
Loving history, especially the era of ancient Rome and Greece, which leads to an adoration with the Renaissance as well, combined with a fascination for architecture makes the "Eternal City" my little piece of paradise. Every time I'm there I discover something new which only deepens my love towards this city.
In the following chapters I will try to give some insight into the city's most known sights and my personal favourites, including some historic facts and photos. All the pictures were taken by myself or my sister, I'm posting these with her permission.
